Founder

Derrick Stacy, Founder- Twitter

Derrick is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, whom is currently residing in the friendly confines of the Appalachian Mountains, on the Kanawha River in Charleston, WV. He is the creator and former owner of the mildly successful “THEPMB.com,” which was a website dedicated to providing news for the Big Blue Nation and other sports throughout the country. The PMB averaged over 10,000 unique visitors a month throughout its time-span, but has been transformed into bigger and better things, aka Sports-at-Work. Derrick provides an intense knowledge of the college athletics scene, with a specialization in NCAA Basketball. He has an innate ability of memorizing every college attended by current and past NBA players, just one of his many sports related skills. Derrick’s columns can also be found on Southern Pigskin, the leader in southern football coverage on the internet. Derrick has made appearances on ESPN Radio to discuss his columns.

Josh is a graduate student at California State University, Bakersfield. He has a Bachelors in Sociology with a minor in French. He is currently pursuing a degree in Masters of Public Administration from CSUB. His thesis topic is the abuses of the non-profit tax exemption status by the Bowl Championship Series. Josh is an avid MMA fan. His first love is the University of Southern California Trojans. He also runs his own personal commentary on his blog which can be found by following him at @FightOnTwist on Twitter. His hobbies are bartending, burning movies, sports commentary, and cats.

Jeff Moore, Partner, NFL Team Lead  Twitter

Jeff Moore grew up in Memphis as a baseball fanatic and overall sports enthusiast.  Four years out of high school, he decided to make a huge leap in life and joined the US Army where he spent 8.5 years serving the country.  Currently, Jeff resides in the Phoenix metropolitan area working for a local city and moonlighting as a bartender on the weekends.  Constantly surrounded by the likes of Arizona Cardinal and Arizona Diamondback fans, his loyalty never waivers from his hometown love of the University of Memphis and Memphis sports in general.  He has warmed up to the prospects of covering Arizona State University, though.  He can always be found talking about anything and everything sports related, along with random musings on Twitter.

Luke Krmpotich, Partner, NASCAR Team Lead & Recruiter

Luke Krmpotich is the Motorsports team lead and chief content editor for Sports-At-Work. He graduated from Patrick Henry College in 2010, and his dream job is to cover NASCAR full-time, traveling to each of the tracks throughout the season. A regular at many Sprint Cup tracks, including Martinsville, Dover, and Richmond, Luke is a NASCAR and stock car racing aficionado. Short tracks hold a special attraction, and living in northern Virginia provides a great way to experience history through short tracks such as Winchester Speedway, Old Dominion Speedway, and Hagerstown Speedway.

 
Luke is originally from Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Brewers were his first sports love, and he avidly follows the Brew Crew even after moving to Virginia. The Milwaukee Mile and Slinger Super Speedway (the "World's Fastest Quarter Mile") provided Luke with his first taste of live stock car racing. Finally, Luke is a Green Bay Packers cheesehead and also a Wisconsin Badgers fan in both football and basketball. Zach Dirlam, Partner, College Basketball Team Lead & Recruiter, Big Ten Football Columnist Twitter

Zach is a student at Albion College in Michigan and is a sports enthusiast. He has written over 60 articles for Bleacher Report. Zach has also written over 60 articles for the Albion College athletics website and is currently interning at K 105.3/WHKM ESPN Radio 1450 in Jackson, MI. Zach is calls the play-by-play for the Albion men's and women's basketball teams and is the color commentator for their baseball, softball, and football teams. He covers the entire Big Ten Conference for Sports at Work and passionately follows the Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Lions, Detroit Red Wings, and Boston Red Sox. He has been writing a sports blog, Dirlam's Dirty Dugout, since June 2011. His hobbies include sports writing, Playstation 3, and relaxing with his friends.

Jason Ham, NHL Team Lead & Lead Recruiter

Jason was born and raised in a small town called Kapuskasing in the bitterly cold reaches of northern Ontario, Canada—where hockey reigns supreme.  He has been playing hockey since the age of 5 and played AAA throughout high school until departing for university in Ottawa, Ontario.  Jason graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology concentrating in Psychology, as well as a diploma in Social Service Work in the years that followed.  Jason makes no effort to hide his obsession with the Toronto Maple Leafs and is thrilled to be able to contribute to the NHL section of Sports at Work.

Tim Herb, MMA @ Work Host Twitter

Tim is a graduate of Francis Marion University. He has a degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Professional Writing. He has a knack for writing and has a great passion for sports. His love for sports started at a young age when he would wake up at 5am before leaving for school to watch Sportscenter every morning. Having played most every sport growing up, Tim is an avid fan with a great appreciation for athletes. Tim really enjoys writing about soccer, especially the English Premier League.
