![]() Megan is a diehard sports fan with the ability to put the pen to work. A respected writer for Sports-at-Work and her own sports blog, "Fresh Brewed," Megan brings a quality opinion along with many other assets to the table.
She sat down with the Sports-at-Work team as their featured female of the week!
1) Name/Nickname: Megan Brown
2) Location: Indianapolis, IN
3) Favorite Sports Teams: Milwaukee Brewers, Indiana Hoosiers, Indianapolis Colts, Duke Blue Devils Men's Basketball
4) Favorite Sports Memory: Seeing Duke win the 2010 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship - in my hometown of Indianapolis. My seats were right behind the Butler student section, and the game was intense! I had about fifty heart attacks- and I think I probably cried (ok, I did) when Coach K spoke as the team cut down the net.
5) Favorite Athlete of all time: Tough question- there are so many greats to choose from (I even wrote John Elway a letter once when I was little, and he sent me a signed photo back). And there's no question that I have an unhealthy obsession with Ryan Braun - and I love Brewers great Robin Yount, too. But I'm going to have to go with Eric Gordon - he went to my high school & to IU - and I interviewed him for the school newspaper a few times. A great guy, humble, and incredibly talented!
6) What, if any, sports did you play growing up? baseball, softball, swimming, figure skating
7) Favorite sport to watch? Baseball. People (haters) say it's boring, but I know it is one of the more exciting sports. Don't believe me? Watch the 2011 World Series Game 6.
8) Sports Muscles or Sports Brains? Both- I deserve to have it all, right?
9) How did you find Sports-at-Work? I write for them! Check out my articles & keep reading Sports-at-Work!
10) One last parting comment..Give the folks an idea of where they can find you on twitter (only if you have twitter)! You can find me two ways, my personal twitter handle: @thatgirlmegan or my Brewers' blog twitter: @fresh_brewed8 :)
